Meet Sam!

Hi, my name is Sam and I am a big lug of a fellow who is looking for a family to call my own. I am very loving, and I try hard to please others. I will sit on command and am eager to learn new tricks. One of the volunteers was teaching me a new trick today, where if I lift up my paw and she would give me a cookie. It was a lot of fun!

We went to an adoption event and there was a man there who just came and cuddled me. I leaned in against him and gave him my most engaging smile. I loved riding in the car, and sat quietly and enjoyed looking out the window. Because I was so well behaved we went and got a special treat, a plain cheeseburger. It was delicious, but what I would love most of all is to meet you and see if we are a good match.

My adoption fees are 50 % off.

Help Our Cause

Animal Services intakes over 6,000 dogs and cats annually. Many are reunited with their owners, adopted into new homes, or transferred to partnering rescue organizations. Unfortunately, approximately 30% are euthanized.

The event helps raise funds in support of the adoption and spay/neuter programs at the Animal Services Center.

Help us raise funds to purchase supplies for the Spay/Neuter program, Adoption Program, microchip idenitification, Enrichment Program, and Foster Program. Your charitable gift is tax deductible and will help save lives and provide comfort to so many animals in need. Please make a donation today.
