Meet Karmma!

Meet Karmma, 3 year old Female Terrier, Pit Bull/Mix. All dog adoption fees are just $70 for the rest of October.

Karmma is a sweet, gentle girl who is easy to walk on leash and appears kennel trained. She's been with us for awhile and we’ve seen her personality come out; she has a really nice one. She’s a bit shy and it takes her a bit to warm up but once she is in a loving home, her confidence will bloom. She is calm and quiet in her kennel. Most dogs do not do well in the shelter environment but Karmma has welcomed the warm bed, the attention of the volunteers and staff. She actually has put on weight and looks healthy as well as happier than when she got here. She definitely is a loyal girl once she feels the trust from a human.

She’s learning to really enjoy her play time out in the play out with the other shelter dogs and started playing with the softer and smaller dogs but she is now playing with the bigger dogs. She has blossomed during her time here at the shelter and has become such a loving girl with all of us and is now having the time of her life in the play yard with the other dogs, super social player.

Karmma attended an adoption event and was very well behaved. She rode well in the car. She did well with men, women, and children showing how much more of a great dog she is.

Help Our Cause

Animal Services intakes over 6,000 dogs and cats annually. Many are reunited with their owners, adopted into new homes, or transferred to partnering rescue organizations. Unfortunately, approximately 60% are euthanized.

The event helps raise funds in support of the adoption and spay/neuter programs at the Animal Services Center.

Help us raise funds to purchase supplies for the Spay/Neuter program, Adoption Program, microchip idenitification, Enrichment Program, and Foster Program. Your charitable gift is tax deductible and will help save lives and provide comfort to so many animals in need. Please make a donation today.
